Visitor: The need to believe
08/09/11 || revenant
The term “modern metal” is fast becoming a term that means “metal that fucking sucks” as far as I’m concerned. “Rarrr raarrr it’s the lumbering fuck metal dinosaur whinging about modern music again” – yeah fuck you cunts. All modern metal sums up to is this: over produced groove metal that at times borders on thrash and has a mix of harsh vocals and clean vocals, with the clean stuff delivering shitty annoying choruses. And that’s fucking it. Visitor is exactly that. I must give credit to the growler though, I do dig his vocals. But the clean singer..hahahaha are you fucking serious? Ok ok, he’s not awful, he’s just completely not suited to this style and his work on this album shits over everything this band is trying to achieve. This might have been some semi-decent groove, but those clean vocals make it a fail from me.
3/10: Visiting time is over, now get the fuck outta here.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
